Restoration Coatings & Membranes
Fluid Applied Roofing Membranes/Liquid Applied Roofing Membranes are monolithic, fully-adhered, fluid-based coatings that have the capability of being fully applied a seamless membrane to a roof, flashings and penetrations as a continues system. These applied membranes, also known as fluid-applied membranes, can be applied over various substrates such as concrete, brick, wood, mod-bit, BUR, SBS, Single ply roofs, and many other surfaces. When these coatings cure, they form a flexible rubber-like, thermoplastic or a fiberated asphalt membrane to eliminate the ingress of water for another 15+ years at upwards of over half the cost of a traditional replacement, making it the far more sustainable when looking at the cost of ownership. The superior conformability and customization of membranes allow for easy application of roofing systems to complicated details and penetrations with little to no waste. The restoration itself is a process by which a cold material is applied to the entire roof once all of the gravel has been removed from the roof, and any deficiencies in the envelope have been addressed. The restoration materials revitalize and rejuvenate the old tar and gravel roof, covering exposed felts and adding years to the roofs life span.
What does this mean for you? A roof that is once more what you need it to be, an envelope, keeping the elements from you and what you deem important. This also means substantial savings for our clients. Secure Roofing and Construction has used this process to save our clients tens of thousands, if not hundreds of thousands of dollars. Sometimes the time is not right to replace, but something always needs to be done. The longer a roofing envelope is left damaged, the costlier it is going to be in the long run. A restoration will see to it that your investment is protected and improved upon.
Replacing a metal deck can be costly and time consuming, but there are options. Liquid, breathable membranes allow the lifespan of existing metal roofs to be extended by years. Rust can be removed and prevented, and for a fraction of the cost you can ensure that the interior of your property is protected as it needs to be so you can carry on doing business as you need to do.
